22kV - 1600kVA Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer, Three Phases, Two Winding, Power Distribution
With the increasing need of oversea market, we developed PEC-S- series dry-type transformer whose winding is sealed up with epoxy enable the dry-type transformer to be flame-retardant, explosion-proof, free from maintenance and pollution. And overal dimension of Pearl Electric's cast resin dry type transformer is compacted and easy to install and delivery.
Regular inspections and maintenance on a transformer are important to ensure that the transformer functions properly.
1 Generally, if the service site is clean and dry, check the transformer annually; if the site is dusty or exposed to chemicals or fog, inspections should be made every three to six months.
2 To guarantee adequate ventilation and prevent deterioration of the winding insulation, accumulated dust must be removed from the insulators, and upper and lower parts of windings. Use dry and compressed air (2~5 atmosphere pressure) to blow off dust from air channels.
3 Check to see whether attached parts and connections are secure; whether conductors and other accessories have become rusted or corroded; or whether electric creeping or carbonization appears on insulation. If any problem is found take appropriate corrective action.
4 After several years of operation (maximum of five years is recommended), check the transformer by testing insulation resistance according to section 9.4 and 9.5. Normally no other tests are required.
