With reference to the anchor bolt, place the equipment on the base, and then put flat gasket
and spring gasket on the anchor bolt. Finally screw the nut into the bolt.
Fix the cables into the cable rack and tighten the cables. The cable length set aside out of the
rack should be determined by the position of the rack, thus to ensure the elbow plug could be
placed into the bushings and reduce the stress applied on the cable. The cable length set aside
could also be adjusted later after the equipment installation is finished.
To ensure the safety of the fastening components, the nut screwed onto the anchor could be
processed (for example rounding the edges of the nuts) to avoid unexpected dismounting.
Before any system connection, please be sure the transformer is properly earthed.
The main earthing terminal of the equipment is located in the HV chamber and it must be
connected to the earthing rod fixed on the base.
The total earthing terminal should not be welded on the outside of enclosure, for exposed
earthing terminal is easy to rust, which may cause improper system earthing. And also, welding
may also damage the coatings of the enclosure, which may cause rust on the enclosure.
