Product features


Being serially connected with the capacitor groups and installed on the busbar, the series
reactor is the reactive compensation equipment of the whole power system. Its main functions are:
1) to reduce the switching-on inrush-current and inrush-current frequency of the capacitor group;
2) to reduce the harmonic wave voltage on the busbar and improve power supply quality; 3) to
limit the higher harmonic current to avoid flowing into the capacitor group and to protect the
capacitor; 4) to reduce the over-voltage amplitude during the switching-off period. The product
conforms to such standards as GB10229-1998 reactor, IEC60076-6 Reactor, JB5346-1998 Series
Reactor.


The product adopts the latest design and technology and is manufactured with the most
advanced imported production equipment. The product features high insulation performance, low
partial discharge, high mechanical strength, energy-saving, small size, light weight, damp-proof,
inflaming retarding, low noise high reliability and low magnetic leakage. It can be widely applied
in the power transmission and transformation system, electric railway, mining industry,
petrochemical engineering and etc.. It is especially suitable for application in the urban
transformer substation where the installation space is limited and special fire-proof measures are
needed, under ground transformer substation and microcomputer-controlled station where
magnetic interference must be specially considered. It specially features small size,
inflaming-retarding and less magnetic leakage.

 

Features & Advantages

 


Core


The core is manufactured with high quality cold rolled grain-oriented silicon steel of high magnetic conductivity. 45° mitring and 5-steps overlapping structure is adopted for the core design, thus to greatly reduce no-load loss and no-load current.

 

To precisely calculate resonance frequency and intensity and avoid cavity resonance generated by the core structure during operation, simulation analysis is carried out for core mould design. Flexible connections are made between core and coils, core and bogie. With these measures adopted, the noise level is reduced by 10~15dB compared with the international standard.

HV winding


HV winding is manufactured with high quality copper wire, reinforced with glass fiber and being casted with epoxy resin at vacuum state with pressure, having the resin fully impregnated into the coils in the most professional imported equipment. Therefore, product's partial discharge is especially low, for example, transformer of 10kV-level has a partial discharge less than 5 pC.

 

During the HV winding design, rational structure is adopted to improve the electric distribution. With the lighting impulse wave simulation calculation and analysis being carried out with special auxiliary software, product's anti-lightning impulse capacity is greatly improved.

LV winding


LVwinding (with the rated power equal to or higher than 400kVA) is manufactured with high quality foil conductor, resulting in excellent ampere-turn balance, low transverse magnetic flux leakage and higher anti-short circuit capability. By designing reasonable air conduit in the windings to increase the heat-dispersion surface, transformer's temperature rise is effectively controlled and the overload capacity is greatly improved.
