Tests shall be done in conformity referring to the manufacture standard.

All tests procedure shall be in accordance with referring standard (IEC or ANSI). 6-1 Design tests (type tests) :

A type test report in accordance to referring standard must be presented with offer. 6-2 Routine test:All routine tests must be performed by manufacture, results must be send to the purchaser before the date of acceptance test (in case of signature of contract).
1.Acceptance tests : Inspections & Tests at Contractor’s Premises
All materials and equipment used in the Facilities may be inspected by the purchaser at any time.
All equipment shall be subjected to all routine tests set out in relevant IEC standards, including any optional tests which the Project Manager deems to be applicable.
One item of each type of plant shall be subjected to all type tests set out in relevant IEC standards. Such tests may be waived in cases where the supplier submits reports of type tests conducted by third- party testing agencies and which are accepted by the Project Manager as adequately demonstrating that the equipment complies with the relevant IEC requirements.

Mandatory factory acceptance tests (FAT) shall be performed for all equipment:
The Contractor should allow for one (1) trip for each set of equipment. Factory test reports shall include current calibration records of all measuring apparatus used in the tests.
No equipment shall be despatched from the factory to site prior to receiving the client / Project manager notification that the factory tests were satisfactory. The Purchaser may request that additional tests be conducted if he is not satisfied that the factory tests have demonstrated that the plant is acceptable.
The Contractor shall provide two (2) representatives of the purchaser and the one (1) from the supervision firm, to attend each factory test. The Contractor shall meet all associated travel, accommodation and living costs, which shall be deemed to be included in the Contract Price.
