TESTING & INSPECTION
The following tests shall be conducted on completely assembled transformers to verify the
specified characteristics of the transformers. If not otherwise stated, tests shall be performed in
accordance with IEC 60076-11 as well as with all relevant parts of IEC 60076.
Type tests shall be performed on a prototype unit that has passed all routine tests. The type
testing requirements are further described in Table 1.
All routine tests can be conducted in-house and Test Reports shall be furnished to TNB.
In particular, the alternating voltage test shall be:
Sinusoidal waveform, with the residual harmonic content is not more than 5% of the
Symmetric three phase system, when inverse-sequence component is not more than 5% of
the direct-sequence component.
