We have a R&D team of 65 experienced talented engineers. Their main duties are to design products according to customer's special requirements. With this team of engineers, Pearl Electric is capable to react to customer's inquiry at due time and it ensures the accuracy of product quotation.
Core: 45° mitring and steps overlapping structure is used for core production, thus to effectively reduce no-load loss and no-load current.
HV winding: high quality copper conductor, adopting optimized structure to improve electric distribution. According to clients' need, HV winding can withstand lightning impulse wave process during calculation and analysis, transformer's anti-lightning impulse capability is designed to be highly improved..
LV winding is manufactured with high quality foil conductor, so the ampere-turn balance is excellent and the transverse magnetic flux leakage is low. The anti-short circuit capability is thus greatly improved. Oil conduit is rationally designed in the windings to increase winding's heat dispersion surface, effectively reduce temperature and improve transformer's overload capability.
The transformer adopts class-A insulation. The HV and LV windings are arranged in concentric way. Between the windings are oil-clapboard insulation structure built with paper cylinder and small oil conduit.
Rust-removing and phosphorization processes are carried out for the tank surface, then the surface is coated with FVC anti- erosion paint, thus to effectively prevent grease pollution and chemical erosion.
Transformers of over 800kVA power are equipped with signaling thermometer and gas relay.

The moisture content of the oil before filling the transformer and on-load tap-changer shall not exceed
10 ppm. At time of take over, the moisture content of the insulating oil shall not exceed 20 ppm in the main tank and the on-load tap-changer compartment. Provided that the requirements for 4.10.4 Oil sampling and testing (also refer ESKASAAF1), are met. If not achieved – drying / filtering of oil needs to be undertaken.
It shall be demonstrated that the moisture content in the paper insulation body of the transformer is less than 1 %. The test to verify the moisture content must be to internationally accepted standard methods for determining the moisture in paper.
Degree of polymerisation
After dry out the manufacturer is to provide the degree of polymerisation (DP) value of the paper. Minimum value is 950 DP.
The paper used shall be thermally upgraded paper.
