Accessory for cast resin dry type transformer
The standard transformers is without enclosure, IP00 class. Type with enclosure is with protection level is IP20.
Temperature controller is equipped as per required. They can be installed on the transformer boday or wall of IP enclosure and reliable and convenient for users to check.
For on-load tap-changing transformers, please refer to the on-load tap changer Operation Manual. First, adjust the tap changer with the transformer switched off; if all indications are normal, then switch on the transformer.
1 Transformer with temperature control box and temperature indicator, please refer to respective operation manuals for detailed operation descriptions. After the temperature control box and temperature indicator is adjusted and all indications are normal, first switch on the transformer, then the temperature control box and temperature indicator.
2 Transformer should be switched on with no load. The peak switching inrush current could reach 10 times of the rated current. The fast motion protection set value should be higher than the switching inrush current.
3 When first switching on, avoid heavily loading the transformer. Beginning with a light load and increasing to a heavier load. While switching on the transformer, check for any abnormal noises.
4 Overload operation of the transformer should comply with IEC905 LOADING GUIDE FOR DRY-TYPE POWER TRANSFORMERS or the over-load curve in our Technical Manual.
5 The transformer can be switched on immediately after a period of service interruption. However, if humidity is high and condensation appears on the winding surface, the transformer can be operated again only after it is dried.
